Welcome to the first Art of Medicine competition!
This competition is dedicated to those who love kidneys and art. Pathologists, nephrologists, and residents alike can submit diagnostic images, paintings, drawings, digital art, sculptures, or any other media focused on renal pathology. Those participating are encouraged to interpret their definition of renal pathology in a creative way that highlights the field.
Why are we hosting an art competition?
The Art of Medicine competition works to connect artistic expression with a vital part of Arkana’s mission, advancing the understanding of disease through education. The cases we receive daily are people, and art is an expression of those people and the medical challenges they face. By looking through a different lens, we hope that this art competition will connect the expression of art with Arkana’s passion for teaching.
