Join Arkana Laboratories at the Florida Society of Nephrology meeting to discuss how we can improve your renal biopsy process!
Typically, renal biopsies are performed in a hospital setting and then sent off to a reference lab for interpretation. Once the biopsy arrives, the preliminary results (light microscopy and immunofluorescence) tend to take a few days, and electron microscopy will take 1 week or more. However, when biopsies are sent to Arkana Laboratories, we provide light microscopy, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopy results the same day the renal biopsy arrives at our lab.
The Florida Society of Nephrology is a statewide organization of nephrologists who care for patients with renal disease. Established in 1966 to represent the interests of physicians and their patients, the FSN is active in many areas affecting the treatment of renal disease. The FSN represents nephrologists in the state of Florida. Their signature event, the 2021 FSN Annual Meeting, is being held May 7 -9, 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, Bonita Springs, FL.
Hope to see you there!
