About
Dr. Starling joins our staff after completion of subspecialty training in renal pathology at Arkana Labs. She received her medical degree from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and then went on to complete a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where she also served as co-chief resident. Dr. Starling completed a cytopathology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Prior to joining Arkana, Dr. Starling was a staff pathologist at Thyroid Cytopathology Partners in Austin, TX for over eleven years. During her time at Thyroid Cytopathology Partners, she served in various leadership roles including Medical Director and Quality Director. Dr. Starling has a passion for teaching and has been a guest lecturer at Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine for second year medical students and served as rotation director at Thyroid Cytopathology Partners for visiting cytopathology fellows.
Dr. Starling is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. She is a member of the College of American Pathologists and the Arkansas Society of Pathologists.
During her personal time, Dr. Starling enjoys visiting family, cooking and walking her golden retriever.
