Dr. Jaime Singh joins our staff after the completion of subspeciality training in renal pathology at Arkana Labs. She completed her MD at West Virginia University School of Medicine and her pathology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Singh completed a surgical pathology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Singh has received several commendations during her training, including the Resident Research Award, two years in a row, the Surgical Pathology Award and the Autopsy Award. She also received the Trainee Global Health Fellowship Award from the American Society of Clinical Pathology in 2018, which she used to study pathology at Muhimbili University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania during a one month rotation. She comes to Arkana after serving as an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee and general surgical pathologist with Memphis Pathology Group.
Dr. Singh is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Nephrology, the Renal Pathology Society, and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
