About
Dr. Rebecca May joins our team as a renal pathologist following her fellowship here. Dr. May received her Ph.D. (Immunology) and M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She also completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Arkana, Dr. May also successfully completed fellowships in surgical pathology, where she served as chief fellow, and cytopathology at the University of Pennsylvania. In her previous appointments, Dr. May has been involved in developing laboratory quality assurance programs and performing research in the field of immunology.
Outside of work, Dr. Rebecca May enjoys spending time with her family and can often be found putting together a puzzle or playing outside with her children. Arkana is excited to have Dr. May on board and looks forward to her bright future in renal pathology!
