Arkana Laboratories is seeking a full-time, board-certified (or board-eligible) neuropathologist to join our growing practice in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The neuropathology laboratory is part of a large private practice that is comprised of 16 board-certified renal pathologists and two neuropathologists, all supported by more than 100 technical and administrative staff.

Neuropathologists at Arkana currently evaluate hundreds of muscle and nerve biopsies as well as consultations for neoplastic and non-neoplastic neuropathology material from 29 states.  We are actively expanding our capabilities and offerings.

Little Rock is Arkansas’s capital city and offers a low cost of living with a plethora of cultural and outdoor activities, without many of the inconveniences of other major cities. The state’s diverse cultures converge in Little Rock, which is home to a thriving downtown entertainment district, a wide array of restaurants, trails, riverside parks and golf courses, and the Clinton Presidential Library.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, be a generalist but have extensive experience evaluating muscle and peripheral nerve biopsies. The ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Arkansas is required as is proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to your start date. In addition, applicants must bring a strong work ethic and a good sense of humor. Compensation, benefits package and vacation are highly competitive.
